I hope you had a think as to whether you have any of those symptoms, or have taken your temperature and all is well.
I often check out the pages on MSN lifestyle and am always interested in what’s news? Today I see an article on Healthy Hair, all about the nutrition to have healthy hair, as if it’s a new discovery.
It came up with basic whole foods: blueberries, nuts, salmon, kidney beans, eggs, and of course the great leafy greens. As far as I can tell this is really a good whole food diet that we are supposed to be eating. In this day and age it is all about how you sell it!
Essentially we need certain things to get the best out of our food. That is efficient enzymes and stomach acid to digest the foods. We have stomach acid HCl about pH 2. Highly potent when it is at its full strength. Our bodies make this and if we are stressed, the stomach acid is weaker and we can get indigestion. The food sits putrefying instead of being broken down by the HCl. (Hydrochloric acid) Often Losec is prescribed and that is dampening down the mechanism even more. So pay attention when you get the heart burn and stay away from those foods if possible. Wheat or cheese are often the culprits especially worse after pizza. Try either or alone and figure it out. On the shelves are digestive enzymes and these can help and often have HCl in the capsule to promote digestion. Stress weakens the bile so the enzymes are a great help.
Apple cider vinegar also does so much. This ancient tonic helps build up your own acid in the stomach. It helps neutralises your blood state to alkaline. An acid state body which occurs is when you are eating certain foods, meat, white flour, sugar, processed foods, milk are generally acidic forming in the body, whereas lemon, lime, blueberries, fruits of the forest, apple cider vinegar helps keep the body in a alkaline state. Acid body brings on inflammation, ie, arthritis, and leads to free radical damage. Stress and anxiety produce free radical damage through the acid forming in the joints.
Eat as little meat as possible and mostly fish if you have a tendency towards swollen joints. Drink plenty of water and lemon water this helps purify the system and takeaway any mucous that has built up over night. I find a dash of apple cider vinegar on ice and water is thoroughly refreshing. Or mix it into a salad dressing always delicious. Apple cider vinegar also helps metabolism of fat and the cleansing of the liver. There are so many great properties of apple cider vinegar that are on google.
Start incorporating over the next few weeks. 1 teaspoon in a glass. And see the changes. Especially good with food. If you find yourself at a restaurant with wheat then have a pineapple juice to help digest the wheat. Happy eating J
