New Year Intentions – what do you want to happen?

Blog 32nd, 1st January 2017

Well I hope everyone has had a lovely festive season and have actually rested a little bit, or enjoyed the family and the get together.  And perhaps all of the family have chipped into do all the chores, packing, unpacking of the gear and helping on holiday …..
Hang overs maybe a little painful but Vitamin B’s and a bowl full of fruit will help and a glass of water and a pinch of salt.
As this is the first day of a new year and a new 9 year cycle. (2017 – 2 + 1 + 7 = 10   1 + 0 = 1) therefore this is a 1 year and an ideal time to set your intentions for this next year.  Have a think about what you want to achieve.  Then take a quiet moment 20 mins or so and really visualise what those intentions would turn out to be.  Play out the scenarios in your own mind and really visualise these with clarity.  As part of the new vibrations of the earth and magnetic pulls from the sun and the moon things can happen.  The Buddhists monks believe of thoughts of clarity and pure (interesting but really about clarity not sin/guilt/remorse etc) visions so that things can manifest.
Give this a go – nothing to loose, doesn’t cost anything and can do quietly by yourself.  Even in the car journey if you are travelling, that’s ideal as you can’t move anywhere and are captive in a metal box travelling to places.
Try not to make New Year resolutions as often they fizzle out by the end of January you feel bad about letting yourself down and then leads to guilt instead have a thought about changing patterns and habits.  Make a plan and start bringing ideas about how to implement them.  And one at a time not several new projects as this can dilute the time and effort to the most important one.
If it doesn’t work try a new one as at least you know what doesn’t work which is equally informing and can look again as to what might work for you. We learn more from mistakes and things that we don’t like, forming our likes and dislikes, learning other stuff and looking at a wider range of activities which is exciting and new.

Have a wonderful start to the year 🙂
